Cagayan Valley (Ilocano: Tanap ti Cagayan; Ibanag: Tana' na Cagayan; Itawis: Tanap yo Cagayan; Filipino: Lambak ng Cagayan) (designated as Region II) is an administrative region in the Philippines located in the northeastern portion of Luzon. It is composed of five provinces: Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, and Quirino. The region has four cities: Cauayan, Ilagan, Santiago, and Tuguegarao. Most of the region lies in a large valley in northeastern Luzon, between the Cordilleras and the Sierra Madre mountain ranges. The eponymous Cagayan River, the country's largest and second longest, runs through its center and flows out from its source in the Caraballo Mountains in the south to the Luzon Strait in the north, in the town of Aparri, Cagayan. The region encompasses the outlying islands of the Babuyan and Batanes to the north. Cagayan Valley is the second largest region of the Philippines in terms of land area, second only to MIMAROPA
1. Palaui Island
Palaui Island is one overlooked paradise located off the northeastern tip of Luzon, specifically Sta. Ana, Cagayan. It was declared a National Marine Reserve in 1994 making it a haven for different species of plants and birds. The island, being 10 kilometers long and approximately 5 kilometers wide, offers breathtaking scenery of tides coming from the Pacific, rolling hills and undisturbed rich forests.
2. Mahatao Tayid Lighthouse
Tayid Lighthouse is crested on a hill on Batan Island, topped with a red lantern room and roof, and bears a rubble masonry base and dwelling. The similarities stop there. Tayid faces the more mischievous Pacific Ocean, not the West Philippine Sea. Its main tower is hexagonal, not round. And it is much less accessible. It can be seen from Marlboro Country (Racuh a Payaman) and Diura Fishing Village.
3. Marlboro Hills
The northernmost tip of the Philippines is the Batanes Group of Islands. Not many have heard much about this place except it being a point of reference for typhoons that enter the country. In more recent years, with air travel becoming more popular and more accessible and photography, Batanes has gain prominence. Marlboro Hills is one of the many sections in the main island that has such beautiful features.
4. Basilica Minore of Our Lady of Piat
The Basilica Minore of Our Lady of Piat (Spanish: Basilica Menor de Nuestra Señora de Piat) is one of the twelve Minor Basilicas in the Philippines. It is located in the outskirts of Piat in the province of Cagayan. The shrine is dubbed as the Pilgrimage Center of the North, and a home to the 407-year-old Black Virgin Mary, Our Lady of Piat.
5. St Dominic de Guzman Cathedral
Santo Domingo Church, also known as Basco Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic church located in Basco, Northern Batan Island, Batanes, Philippines. Around 1795, due to frequent fires and typhoons that destroyed buildings, stone churches were started to be built, made possible by imported masons, stone cutters, and carpenters from Cagayan.

7. Magapit Suspension Bridge
The Magapit Bridge is suspension bridge that opened in 1978
to connect the east and west sides of the Cagayan River in the province of
Cagayan. It is located in Magapit, Lal-lo, Cagayan, Philippines. The bridge was also named by the locals
as the "Golden Gate of Cagayan". This bridge is one of the only two
bridges in the province that runs across the mighty waterway of the Cagayan
River.
8. Taggat Norte Blue Lagoon

Blue Lagoon, an amazing spot where there is luminous blue water, rocks, and a
hidden falls. The falls is very easy to reach; it is almost 200 meters from the
main entrance of the lagoon. It has crystal clear water and the air breeze is
fresh and cool. For an outdoor activity, trekking going to the falls will let
you experience and see the beauty of the Babuyan Sea.

lagoon also provides a dock area for the fisherman in the village.Taggat Lagoon
is in Claveria municipality in the province of Cagayan.

Point in Pagupud, Ilocos Norte, the Philippines. The twin islands are often
visited by tourists, and are a natural landmark of Pagudpud. It is a great local tourist attraction and
worth the effort to visit.
