GREAT BEACHES ALONG THE SOUTHERN PART OF CEBU

HERE ARE THE LIST OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACHES YOU CAN FIND IN THE QUEEN  CITY OF THE SOUTH (SOUTHERN PART OF CEBU)

1. SUMILON ISLAND

Opened in 2005, Sumilon Island has the first Philippine marine sanctuary and is touted as one of Cebu's best kept- secrets, with shifting white sand, breathtaking views, clear water, and great diving spots. The island resort offers 29 rooms that offer inspiring view of the surrounding ocean.

2. TINGKO BEACH 

Tingko Beach is about more than a mile long beach with pinkish and crystal clear turquoise water lined with coconut palm trees and limestone cliffs.

It is located south of Cebu City. Specifically, Tingko Beach nestles in Barangay Daan Lungsod, Alcoy Town, Cebu Province, Visayas, the Philippines.

3. BASDAKU BEACH 

Basdaku Beach Resort is its popular name and considered one of the best beaches in Cebu. The name "basdaku" (or "basdakoo) is the Cebuano (Visayan language) transliteration for the word ‘big sand’ (bas for sand, daku for big or wide).

4. VODA KRASNA BEACH

Voda Krasna Beach Resort is located approximately 100 kilometers from Cebu City, the capital of this Visayan province.

It takes roughly 2.5 hours by car and 3 hours by bus (coach) to get to the beach area where Voda Krasna is established beautifully.

5. HERMITS COVE

The place is called Hermit's Cove since a hermit supposedly discovered this hidden paradise and lived there a long time ago. The name of the barangay where the place is situated was said to be based on the name of the hermit, which was Tabogon.
